It does not include the AAU nor the USA Track & Field rules and regulations. This documentation can be found on the appropriate web sites described later in this document.
Track Committee
The Track committee is a governing body, namely the commissioner and assistant commissioner, that has direct responsibility for all track activities: including, the budget, conduct of participants, fund raising, personnel, and safety.
The Track committee is responsible for the following:

- Ensuring that their coaches hold current certification in the Marlton Recreation Council Coaches Course.
- Obtaining a copy of the Registration Form for each athlete on the team, and for ensuring that parents / guardians have completed and signed the Medical History Information section of the form.
- Appointing coaches for each age group.
- Preparing the club schedule of track meets, and for giving that information to each coach within a reasonable time frame.
- Issuing the team rosters to each of the coaches, which includes the full names and phone number of all coaches and athletes.
- Resolution of any disputes having to do with improper conduct by athletes, coaches, or spectators.
Coaches
The Track Coaches are responsible for the following:

Safety
- Athlete safety is assigned the highest priority throughout the entire program.
- If any athlete is reported as being unable to play because of medical treatment, such as a laceration, sprain, or fracture, a written release from the doctor must be given to the coach for that athlete to resume track activity. Verbal approval is not allowed.
- Any athlete injured in such a manor that bleeding occurs must be removed from the meet, and may not return until the wound is treated and bandaged.
- If an athlete falls to the ground, and remains down, the race or field event may be stopped. This decision will be based upon the severity of the situation and the event.
